About This Activity
---Instructor: Heather Sanderson--- Kids take the stage in this exploration of acting! Students will explore acting techniques including working as an ensemble, character movement and vocal characterization while rehearsing a play. Students will learn proper rehearsal basics, all while gaining self-expression, focus, and the confidence to make big, silly acting choices onstage! Students will be expected to work at home to memorize lines for the performances. This class is catered to actors new to the stage and kids who want to discover new skills to strengthen their acting ability. Kids will use these newly developed skills in a hilarious play for friends and family in two productions on the LTA stage for the Spring Showcases, May 3rd & 4th. Evening rehearsals will be required during the week of April 28. (No classes 2/15, 3/29, 4/12 & 4/19.)
