Youth Strength Development Camp will be led by former college football player & D1 HEAD STRENGTH COACH... Mike Hernandez This camp is a chance to learn the CORE LIFTS and to start the process of learning how to make these moves in a a safe and effective way. It doesn't do us any good to be strong but be out of action due to injury, so the pre-lift and post-lift process is important. Learning how to get strong on both the front and backside of your body. Learning the movement skill and how to move weight efficiently. This camp is for Ages 9-14... so many of our younger athletes will be doing FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH WITHOUT LOADING THE BAR. But learning to move a bar or PVC pipe, a sled or box, or working thru resistance band work. This will be a great learning opportunity. This camp is March 10-12 on BISD SPRING BREAK. Cost is $130. The hours each day are 2:00-3:30 PM. This camp is positioned behind the SPEED DEVELOPMENT CAMP and would be a great combination to do both of these.
