Join Us for a Summer of Thriving and Surviving at Forest Camp! Forest Overnight Camp offers unforgettable 1- to 7-week sessions designed for youth aged 7-12. At Forest Camp, every day is an adventure! Campers dive into activities like swimming, boating, playing capture the flag, and picking wild raspberries and blackberries. They can make music, tend the camp garden, build impressive wilderness shelters, climb the rock wall, craft wooden spoons, weave on a loom, dance, act, practice yoga and meditation, try their hand at pottery, and explore woodworking—plus nearly 100 other unique options! Forest Camp fosters a sense of natural discovery, teamwork, responsibility, and independence. Embrace the Skills of the Scout Become the eyes and ears of the forest as you build confidence through wilderness skills. Master the arts of camouflage, navigation without a compass or map, and stealthy movement. Together with fellow adventurers, you’ll have a chance to: • Build fire from friction. • Craft and use natural tools. • Identify and harvest edible plants. • Cook meals over an open fire. • Sleep in a rainproof shelter you build yourself. • Enjoy skit nights, stargazing, fishing, and so much more! A Home in the Wilderness Campers spend their nights immersed in nature, sleeping in Adirondack shelters or in the forest surrounding our main campus. With up to eight campers in hammocks, shelters, or wall tents, each experience is unique and deeply connected to the outdoors. Our sleeping areas are thoughtfully arranged, with feminine and masculine shelters located at opposite ends of camp for comfort and privacy. The week begins with Sunday drop-off and concludes with Saturday pick-up, ensuring an enriching and seamless overnight camp experience.
