About This Activity
Calling all students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 who are interested in Esports! Join Mr. Mangan and Mr. Savitsky, who will be the coaches of this year’s Esports team, for this exciting opportunity. Related to but distinct from our Esports Middle School Elective, the Holy Child Esports Team is a new kind of school sport that will meet on Thursdays from 3:00-5 p.m. The team will be participating in the Rocket League Tournament, part of the Nationwide Generation Esports Middle School League. Rocket League is an online soccer game where the player is a car character pushing an oversized ball in a virtual soccer field or arena. Teams of three will compete against other Middle School teams in the East Coast time zone. Matches are moderated by the teachers of the individual schools that are participating.
