Kids Musical Theatre at Bay Laurel (Tuesday) Experience: All experience levels are encouraged to enroll! Rehearsals: 1st-5th Graders: Performers will rehearse every Tuesday from 3-5:30 pm. (5:30-6p will be utilized for specialty roles each week). Auditions & Casting: Each performer who enrolls will perform in TWO casts. One cast will be their main show (larger role with lines, a solo, duet, or feature) and an ensemble show (smaller role, dancing and singing in major group numbers). Some performers will be cast in age-appropriate featured roles that they will perform twice. Program Duration: Spring Production: February - May Session Capacity Waitlist registrations will open once we hit capacity. Performance Weekend(s) and Casting All performances will take place during the weekend of May 16-18. Your performer will perform in a minimum of two performances. (Performance days include Thursday through Sunday). We do our best to accommodate pre-noted religious and school activities. We can not accommodate any other special requests with show days. These conflicts must be included at the time of casting. This will allow our directors and casting team more flexibility to cast each kid exactly where they want them to be. Siblings will be cast in the same cast(s). Casting friends is not a guarantee. What Happens In Rehearsals? Kids will work in an interactive and creative environment where they will be taught singing, dancing, acting, and choreography specific to the musical being rehearsed.
