Description
Break your creative mold with an introduction to ceramic techniques such as hand building, slab method, pinch pots, coil method, and wheel throwing on the potter’s wheel. Explore the art of wheel throwing and acquire the skills necessary to produce expressive forms. From boxes, cylinders, cups and bowls, projects focus on altering and assembling a wide range of functional and decorative objects. Aspiring ceramicists will also learn surface decoration, carving, and glazing techniques.
