All facets of our life are affected by engineering -- genetic, civil, software -- just to name a few. To be successful in the field of engineering, creative problem-solving abilities are a must. Robotics-Fun with Stemtree uses the wonder and genius of robots to inspire students to learn engineering, apply their knowledge and skills of basic science, model construction, computer programming, and problem solving to explore STEM concepts. This program utilizes instructional time, assessments, and hands-on activities to reinforce key concepts and improve problem-solving skills while having fun. Robo-Fun is both a perfect introduction to the world of robotics for younger students and an opportunity to expand the knowledge base of older students. This program will be held each Wednesday at Forest Ridge Elementary school from 3:20pm-4:20pm from October 2nd until November 6th with the exception of any closed days for HCPSS. Make up sessions: Your student may make up any missed session withing the 6-week period at our Columbia location. Students must be picked up promptly after each session as late fees will apply.
