About This Activity
Grade 5 Ballet and Pre-Pointe are for students in the 6th Grade of School, or aged around 11. The class rate is $13.50/h at 3 hours per week for 33 weeks (Aug. 26, 2024 - May 16, 2025). The Spring Performance is May 17. Class will meet three times over two days for a total of 3 hours: Monday 5:00-6:00pm (Studio A) Wednesday 5:00-6:00pm (Studio B) Friday 6:00-7:00pm (Studio B: Pre-Pointe) Feminine Attire: Regulation RAD Leotard; tights; ballet shoes; character shoes; no tuts (soft skirts ok). Masculine Attire: Sleeveless or short sleeve white leotard; footed or stirrup tights in Navy; white ankle socks; white ballet shoes; character shoes. Please see our Dress Standards for more information. All hair should be up in a bun with flyaways tucked, or slicked back with flyaways tucked. Students are required to bring a water bottle to class. OPTIONAL: Feminine students may purchase demi-pointe shoes for class, which can help students get used to their future pointe shoes. These are not required for class.
