Staff Advisor: Jasica Gil Email: jasica.gill@basisindependent.com Student Advisor: Aashna Dates: Friday with the first meeting on 9/6 and the last meeting on 4/25 Time: 4:15 PM–5:15 PM Grades: 9–12 Cost: $550 Description: Through the High School Literary Magazine Club, students will be able to harness their creative talents in a fun, relaxing way! Over the course of the year, students will work to develop pieces of creative work, such as short stories, poems, and comics, and these pieces will be published in bimonthly literary magazine issues. Club members will also host events like open mic nights and guest speaker events throughout the year to build a fun, creative environment in our school. Students in the club will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles to facilitate club activities, including editing stories, designing the layout of magazines, and publicizing events.
