Developing a solid understanding of basic human anatomy is an essential foundation for any artist. Begin with quick drawing exercises that focus on full-figure human gesture, then move into slightly longer drawing exercises that emphasize half-length poses, and eventually longer drawings that help develop skills in life-size proportion. Focus is on the head and upper-body interpretations of the model. Several classroom sessions with a clothed model will be featured, along with the use of some props, including the human skeleton. Media used will include pencil, charcoal, coffee wash, and pastel. Instructor: Mazzu
