About This Activity
I am pleased to say that we will be running a new Summer Coaching Academy starting after Easter 2025 at Marlborough College. I know many of you will want to continue developing and playing in the quieter months, so here is the perfect opportunity. We will be running two academies side by side, a Junior and a Senior. Junior Academy, school years 4-6. Senior Academy, school years 7+ The aim is to have a maximum of 16 players per Academy. These 16 players will be split into two groups of 6-8. This means low ratios and a brilliant environment to work in. Our coaching team will be made up of some of the most talented players and coaches from the region including Tam Pascoe, Myself, and other Talented Players/Coaches. Skills and Focus will be applicable to the two Academy age groups, and children will work with like-minded, driven players. Academy Objectives: Prepare players for the next step in the England Hockey Single System, Development Centres, Academy Centres and Performance Centres. Ensure players over the quieter periods continue to learn and develop, - not to regress. Iron out bad habits, work closely on technique and improve and further their current knowledge Work on small sided unit play, game play and match scenarios Be pushed and challenged by peers to be the best you can be Spaces will be limited for the two Academies. 99.00
