About This Activity
A mash-up camp that's the best part of theatre! Work together as an ensemble to create a comedic 10-minute play skit AND have a crash-course in comedy improv, all under the guidance of playwright and comedic-genius, Mike Lion. In this class, students will hone improv, comedy, and storytelling skills through games and exercises designed to get you thinking on your feet, working as an ensemble, and gaining confidence as you discover--it’s okay to fail. (But be sure to fail two more times too - rule of three’s!) Final Sharing from 3:00-3:30 pm on Friday February 21. Break camp students should be sent to YTN with a packed lunch and two snacks that do not need to be in a refrigerator or microwaved.
