Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies.
The Course teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give person immediate care to and injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. The intended audience for this course includes lay responders in the workplace and community. Registration closes on Friday, May 23.
Online component (approx. 3 to 4 hours) required to be completed by March 9. Link to access online component will be email to participant after registration.
To complete the course requirements and receive a competition certificate, a participant must be able to complete on-line session, attend in-person class, actively participate in all course activities, demonstrate competency in all required skills and successfully complete assessment scenarios. Upon successful completion of the course, participant will receive an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/ AED certification, which is valid for 2 years.
