Let's roll up our sleeves, prepare ingredients, cook Asian foods, and enjoy eating them every day. You will learn to prepare five iconic dishes that combine savory, sweet, and satisying flavors. These dishes include: Scallion Pancakes: Master the crispy, flaky layers of this popular Chinese street food as you learn to mix the dough, roll out the pancakes, and cook them to golden perfection. Dumplings: Discover the art of making dumplings from scratch, including crafting the dough, preparing fillings, and learning both steaming and pan-frying techniques to achieve tender, flavorful bites. Bao: Learn how to fill in your dough with some sweet fillings. Students will also learn how to use bamboo steaming to cook bao. Fried Rice: Unlock the secrets to making perfect fried rice, packed with flavor and texture. You'll learn how to use leftover rice and customize it with your favorite vegetables and seasonings. Boba Tea: Explore how to cook the boba and making a refreshing boba drinks in a variety of flavors. *We will do our best to accommodate most food sensitivities, but please reach out to us directly to discuss your child's needs. **Please bring your own containers to bring any leftovers home. ***This camp will use the swimming pool daily in the afternoon as an optional activity.
