The City of San Diego Park and Recreation Junior Water Polo program is an entry level program that combines basic swimming skills and an introduction to the sport of water polo.
Health and Safety Requirements Swim Programs
1. Team members may not to come to practice with a fever of 100 degrees or more, chills, a new cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, unexpected or out of the ordinary fatigue, muscle or body aches, or headache, new loss of taste or smell, a sore throat, new or out of the ordinary congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.
2. Team members may not to come to practice if within the past 14 days, they have been in close physical contact (within 6 feet of the person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with anyone who has tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has symptoms of COVID-19; or if team members, or anyone in their immediate household, are currently waiting for COVID-19 test results due to COVID related symptoms.
3. All participants are required to shower before entering the pool.
