Welcome to the Tree Frog Treks Afterschool Program! We are excited to offer an enriching and engaging afterschool experience for children at The Little School. Here’s everything you need to know about our program: Program Overview: Our afterschool program is designed to offer a variety of activities that promote creativity, exploration, and fun. Children will have the opportunity to engage in: - Outdoor adventures and nature exploration - Creative arts and crafts - Group games and connection with our Little School community - Quiet time for rest and relaxation- “IQ Time” Dates: Wednesdays: - October 2, 2024 - November 6, 2024 - December 4, 2024 - January 8, 2025 - February 5, 2025 - March 5, 2025 - April 2, 2025 - May 7, 2025 Time: 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM Location: The Little School 1520 Lyon St Pick Up Location is back at The Little School at 5:30 PM. Cost: $730.00 per student for the full session. Ages: 3-5 y.o. Daily Schedule: 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM: Arrival and cozy time for younger children, quiet free play/activity for others. 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Group activities and planned program events. Animal Ambassadors and/or planned activity for the group before getting ready to set off for our trek! 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Outdoor play, park visits, and nature walks. Our group will venture to a nearby area of interest (Presidio, Golden Gate Park, Alta Plaza). 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Snack Attack time! 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Group will head back to the Little School for Pickup. 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Closing Circle – Sharing what we discovered, learned and enjoyed! Pickup by 5:30 PM. Note: Pick-up will primarily happen at The Little School, however, pickup may be switched to a nearby park- if so, parent/guardians will be notified by TFT Naturalist.
