The Loyola Baseball Lab is being formed to try and help players get the instruction and repetition they need to progress through the levels of Youth Baseball. The structure of youth baseball is broken. Today’s youth sports culture is set up where parents feel like the team their son plays on and the number of games they play are the most important factors in a player’s development. The travel time, and coaching time, many times does not match the time and effort really needed to improve. The tournament games, most times are condensed into a 3-day window where injuries become more prevalent for young kids. Travel time and Travel cost are other obstacles that make it difficult for families.
