About This Activity
Tween Musical Theatre (Monday) Experience: All experience levels are encouraged to join! Rehearsals: 6-7th Graders: Performers will rehearse every Monday from 4-6 pm (with select roles from 6-7:30 pm) & Sunday - 4-6 pm. Auditions & Casting: Each performer who enrolls will perform in TWO casts. Class Act's double casting system will be applied in most cases, giving each performer two roles (one featured role and one ensemble role). Casting and Conflicts: All performances will take place from November 14th-24th. Your performer will perform in a minimum of two performances. (Performance days include Thursday through Sunday of each week). Outside of religious and school activities, we can not accommodate any other special requests with show days. This will allow our directors and casting team more flexibility to cast each kid exactly where they want them to be. Program Duration: 4 months What Happens In Rehearsals? Tweens will work in an interactive and creative environment where they will be taught singing, dancing, acting, and choreography specific to the musical being rehearsed. Who Teaches The Kids? Our program is directed by Ally Mulholland, produced by Jaya Ely, and is led by Jessica Alexander, (MFA Acting, New School University).
