A weekly swim session – Friday 4:30–5:30 pm These sessions focus on developing specific triathlon swim skills, with a different theme each week, such as open water techniques, sighting, deep water starts, drafting, breathing, and body position. This session is only available to children enrolled in the Junior Triathlon or the York Sport Swim Scheme. Participants must be able to swim 100m (preferably front crawl) and have passed ASA Stage 6. Pool Guidelines To ensure smooth running of sessions: - Parents are asked not to enter poolside. - Please arrive ready for the session. - Bring a labelled water bottle for hydration during the session. - Don’t forget your swim hat if you have long hair and your goggles.
